Katrina Kaif Biography Kartina was born and brought up in London to an NRI Father and a British Mother. Her father is originally from Kashmir. She first came to the notice of filmmaker Kaizad Gustad while she was modelling in London. That led to her break in Bollywood in the film ‘Boom’.Katrina then decided to take acting as her full-fledged career and shifted her base to Mumbai.With her gorgeous face and hourglass figure, Katrina was flooded with modeling assignments in Mumbai. However, filmmakers were earlier hesitant to sign her because of her linguistic shortcomings.Today Katrina's kitty is flush with a host of movies.
